Bozeman Daily Chronicle – Letter to the editor: Wreaths Across America honored the fallen, those who serve

All hands were on deck for Wreaths Across America on December 13th at Sunset Hills Cemetery in Bozeman, Montana.

The purpose of this event is to remember the fallen, honor those who serve, and to teach the next generation the value of freedom.

After the opening ceremony at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall, 604 wreaths were placed on veterans’ graves by a network of community supporters and volunteers.

Wreaths Across America partners with like-minded organizations that share common missions and goals to build awareness for the service and sacrifice of our men and women in uniform, and that of their families.

Those organizations in attendance included the Patriot Guard Riders, Daughters of the American Revolution, Alongside Women Veterans Outreach, Elks Lodge #463, American Legion Post #14, and the Vietnam Veterans of America Southwest Montana.
