The Opera Montana Veterans Chorus went international on May 8th…Thanks to @mincemeatbway for inviting us to participate in a virtual sing along of the song “Sail On, Boys” as a way to commemorate the 80th anniversary of V-E day.
Opera Montana Veterans Chorus sang at the Story Mansion on the evening of April 18th in Bozeman, Montana at the invitation of the Daughters of the American Revolution.

In November 2022, Opera Montana (then Intermountain Opera Bozeman) gathered currently serving and retired members of the U.S. military to perform in The Falling and the Rising. This new American opera used interviews with wounded veterans to tell true stories of strength, service, and sacrifice. Real-life servicemen and women from throughout Montana joined the principal cast to sing together in the opera’s climactic finale.
Today, the Opera Montana Veterans Chorus continues to gather and sing together twice each month. The chorus offers performances for special occasions like Veterans Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, etc.
