We had success last month with several events. Congratulations to the three winners of the Post14 Oratory Contest. The first-place contestant will be moving on to compete at the Department. We had a great turnout from the Post. Thank you, Randy Kemp, for leading this effort and to the members who volunteered their time.
Post 14 Polar Plunge Team raises $1175 for Special Olympics Montana
Thank you to Post Member Mellisa Turney for motivating Jeff Cade and I and keeping Post 14 involved in this event. It was a beautiful day to jump in the not so frozen pond. See pictures at our website bozemanmtlegion.org. Thank you, Rick Gale.
Post 14 Veterans Service Phone Line 406-548-4972
In an effort to be responsive to the needs of our membership, we have decided to get a dedicated phone number for members to use if they are in need some assistance or information from the Post. The Bar phone number will remain the same. Anyone who calls the Bar requesting assistance or Post 14 information will be given this new service phone number. Post 14 Trustee Gray Gullickson has volunteered to man the phone line 24/7 and refer all calls for assistance to the proper organizations and report each month on the calls received. Thank you, Gary, for taking on this important task.
Post 14 Burger Nights
Burger nights are going strong. The Bar is offering burger specials on Tuesday, Thursday and Fridays from 4:00PM – 8:00PM. We are offering a simple menu with chips and a drink. $11.00 gets a burger, garnish, chips and a beer or soda.

We have a coffee and donuts with Veterans visit at Brookdale Springmeadows Assisted Living on Thursday, March 19th at 10:30AM. If you have the time to visit, please come by. Our members will meet upstairs in the day room.

St Patrick’s Day Corned Beef Tuesday, March 17, 2026 5:00PM – 7:00PM – Open to the Public
We will be serving our famous corned beef and cabbage on Tuesday, March 17th starting at 5:00PM. Price for the meal is $15.00. This is a must attend event as Post members will once again cook and prepare throughout the day and deliver a traditional Corned Beef and Cabbage meal in the Upstairs Meeting Hall. This is an annual fundraiser for the Post and a great way to socialize and meet with members. Please pass the word that this event is open to the public. See attached flyer.
2026 Memorial Day Parade May 25, 2026 @ 9:30AM
We are starting the planning process for the 2026 Memorial Day Parade. If you have some time to spare and would like to get involved, please reach out to me via email. Our next committee meeting is scheduled for Thursday, March 19th at Noon at the Salvation Army Building at 32 South Rouse. If you know of someone needing information about the parade, please direct them to call our Post 14 Service Line at 406-548-4972 and they will be directed.
Our next General Membership meeting will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2026 at 1800 Hours in the Upstairs Meeting Hall at 225 East Main Street.
