Gallatin Post 14 Update

All,

Lot’s of thanks due for the Corned Beef Dinner

A big thanks to Post 14 members Lanny Atchison, Jim Marchwick, Dick Rausch and Bruce Little. They worked a long day and delivered a delicious St. Patrick’s Day corned beef and cabbage dinner. We served approximately 150 meals and had some great reviews. Post 14 Auxiliary had the hall looking great and brought some delicious cake. Special thanks to MSU ROTC for doing a great job busing and refilling tables. Post members Gary Gullickson, Jim Kinyon and SAL Jake Harriman handled the dishwashing duties and kept the kitchen running smoothly. Thanks to Len Albright and Dan Ritter for running the doors.

Save the Date

The days are flying by and we are quickly closing in on Memorial Day. We will be asking for some help with this big push. On Thursday, May 21st at 9:00 A.M. we will begin placing more than 2700 flags on Veteran grave sites at Sunset Hills Cemetery. This is by far our biggest task and takes a long time without enough help. Please pass the word and let people know that we are calling out for help on this day. More information will be available as we get closer.
