Remembering the sacrifices: Local groups mark 50 years since end of Vietnam War

Chuck Renevier, the Montana State Council President for Vietnam Veterans of America, asked the crowd to remember the more than 58,000 service members who died in Southeast Asia.

The ceremony also honored unaccounted for service members with a “missing man table,” a tradition that began after the Vietnam War and includes an empty chair and an inverted glass to symbolize the missing service members who can’t share in a toast.
